Creative Warwick

The Art House recently supported Warwick Community Group in a bid for funding for a series of artist-led projects exploring what it is like to live in, work on and visit the Warwick Estate.

From April to December 2014, four artists will be leading creative projects for all ages from the Warwick Community Group Shop.  All workshops are FREE.

Carrie Scott-Huby
April – July

Make your own ‘Lifeloom’ book. Using collage, photography and writing, weave a visual story of your life and the life of your community.

Bob Clayden
July - August

Using hi and lo-tech photography help create an alternative map of Warwick charting the local area, its landmarks, stories and people. The stories and images will be shared through a blog and printed magazine.

Fiona Oberon
October – November

Using craft materials and solar lighting help make some temporary street art about the local issues that matter to you.

You can drop in for just one workshop or join for the whole project.  Workshops will take place on a weekly basis, but the days may vary, so please phone of email to check. To find out when the next workshop is you can call Mary Gladman on 07881 798441, email wwhg@btconnect.com or pop into the Warwick Community Group shop at 9 Pinewood Place, on a Monday afternoon between 1 – 3pm when their usual art group meets.

All workshops are FREE. Children and families are welcome, but children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
