Finance and Operations Manager

Salary: £24,000 pro rata

This is a critical new role within an organisation that has an excellent track record for its financial and operations management. We recognise the importance of these high standards as an essential part of our continuing success. The post holder’s main focus is to take responsibility for the finance alongside the smooth running of all areas of the Art House’s business on a day to day basis.

This post is a great opportunity for a talented person, with financial management experience, to work at the heart of a national visual arts organisation. The role will lead on delivery of strategic and operational financial management and will manage the business processes for planning and budgeting. This post takes responsibility, day to day, for maintaining a balance between finance and our charitable aims.

Art Walk & Social Event Volunteers

The Art House takes part in a bi-monthly event called the Art Walk. A minimum of 14 venues throughout Wakefield take part between 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. the last Wednesday of every two months. The Art House studio holders open their doors for visitors to come and view the work and meet the artists. The Art House is always looking for volunteers to meet and greet people, help count the number of visitors, provide refreshments upon arrival and generally help people tour The Art House.

 

The next Art Walk is on Wednesday 29 September 2010.
