Community Room

Equipped for intaglio printmaking and for general art activity, the Community Studio is available for hire to artists, trainers and community arts organisations.

The 65 sq. m. community studio can be used either for general art activities or for fine art printmaking. All sessions must be booked in advance.

The general art area has height-adjustable tables, comfortable seating and sinks. A basic range of materials is available to purchase.

The printmaking studio has an 80x160cm motorised etching press and facilities for 'safe' etching (copper sulphate) plus technician support. It would be ideal for experienced printmakers wishing to edition or to deliver masterclasses and workshops.

 

 

We also run introductory printmaking classes and timetabled open access print sessions.
