WORKSHOP Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day - 1 Adult with 1 Child Place

26.04.2015 to 26.04.2015

10am - 4pm

To celebreate Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, Bob Clayden (The Pinhole Wizard) invites you to come along to The Art House for a workshop for adults and families in making and using pinhole cameras. You will make a pinhole camera from recycled boxes and tins, to create traditional black and white images.

Pinhole photos are taken without a lens but simply through a small hole, about the size of a fullstop. This is a creative, funny and educational workshop using self-made cameras made from ordinary items such as coffee tins, peeled tomato cans or tea boxes. Materials will be provided but participants are also encouraged to bring a container from home that can be made light tight can become a pinhole camera.

Bob will show you how to take photographs around the area using black and white photographic paper. You will develop your negatives in a pop-up darkroom, learning how to process black and white paper. To make your negatives into positive prints we’ll be using Apps on our Smart phones. Negatives created at the end of the day will all be photographed and uploaded to the Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day website.

All the Photo paper, chemicals and a selection of boxes will be included.
