Hear from artist in residence Pak-Keung Wan in conversation with David Gilbert, Programme Producer, The Art House.

There will also be an opportunity to meet two other artists in residence, sean burn and Salma Patel.

Pak-Keung Wan
Selected to take part in our Some Times solo residency programme 2016/17, UK based artist Pak Keung Wan (born Hong Kong 1970) will be in residence at The Art House throughout July 2017. The artist works from a drawing-focused practice that incorporates installation, photography, print and performative modes of production. An exhibition of work made during the residency will be on display from 26 July - 31 August. Find out more HERE

sean burn, working under the name of gobscure
gobsure is a writer, performer and self-taught artist with an international reputation and active involvement in disability arts. As part of the Change Makers residency programme running throughout 2017, the residency reclaiming the languages of lunacy, began in April 2017 and will continue until September 2017. An exhibition of work produced during this time will be on display from 27 September - 10 November 2017.

Salma Patel
Salma Patel was invited to take part in a micro-residency as part of the Change Makers residency programme, 2017, alongside artist Veronica Ryan.  Patel graduated in Fine Art from Batley School of Art and Design, specialising in stone and plaster sculpture.
