As part of Migration, International Residency, The Art House is bringing together guest speakers from across the UK to discuss relationships between artistic practice, migration and international exchange. Join the speakers and resident artists for two evenings of informal talks and discussions reflecting on the theme of the residency.

Organised across two evenings, the programme will be opened by Linda Fielding who will introduce the work of City of Sanctuary supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Wakefield. Aine O’Brien will present the work of Counterpoints Arts, a London-based organisation that supports and produces art by and about migrants and refugees. Following these introductory talks, Bryony Bond (The Tetley), Skinder Hundal (New Art Exchange), Matthew Pendergast (Castlefield Gallery) and Shanaz Gulzar will present on current projects relating to migration and international exchange in Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester and Bradford.
