Marilyn Kyle, Remembrance

28.09.2016 to 28.09.2016

Remembrance, on display at Wakefield Cathedral during October.

A piece from the exhibition will be display at The Art House for the evening of the Artwalk, Wednesday 28 September, 5-9pm.

Since her MA in Fine Art at UAL (Wimbledon), Croydon based printmaker, Marilyn Kyle has produced installations using a range of media and processes as well as found objects. Marilyn was in residence at The Art House in 2009 and 2010 and was invited back to show work from her latest exhibition at this month's Artwalk. The installation was inspired by experiences of loss: for Marilyn, witnessing her Mother gradually ‘disappearing’ through dementia but also through stories passed to her by others. Works are made from cast porcelain, re-fired found ceramic pieces, found wood and metal.
