Please join us on Monday 10 October, 11.00am - 2pm for this unique event where we will open up a dialogue about the commissioning opportunities and how we in the visual arts can access them.

The Unlimited commissions programme aims to embed work by disabled artists within the cultural sector, reach new audiences and shift perceptions of disabled people, looking for quality, innovation and ambition across all commissioned work.

Hear from Senior Producer, Jo Verrent who will introduce the Unlimited Commission programme and outline the opportunities available.

Lunch will be followed by a round table discussion with Shân Edwards, CEO and Artistic Director, The Art House; David Gilbert, Programme Producer, The Art House; Sarah Coulson, Deputy Curator, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Mark Smith, Executive Director, Axisweb and Jo Verrent, Senior Producer, Unlimited

Commissions are aimed at disabled artists and companies that support disabled-led work across all art forms.

Commissions available are:

  • Main commissions & R&D awards (£20,000 - £80,000)
  • International collaborative commissions (R&D £15,000 - £25,000, creation, production  & presentation £50,00 - £100,000)
  • Commissions for young and/or emerging artists (£2,500 - £10,000)

The application portal for EOI opens on Monday 3 October and closes on Monday 7 November. More info HERE
