How do we include their aspirations with 'our' aspirations for equality? Are 'we' as equality professionals flexible and open enough to include others or do we believe we are right and others just need to sort themselves out?

It's a hard balance to share your hard won thinking, born of nights of interrogating what creative is, what purpose it serves us and what is equality really- how do we understand diversity, inclusion and equal opps - in its reflection.

It's back to the idea that floats around my life from time to time that by being the expert you can see change flourish at once as you implement your thinking in partnership with another, but then it withers as it reaches the extend of your expertise, time, resources- and the interest of that partner in you. Instead we must nurture other's expertise, nurture their motivations, insights and experiences. We have to keep learning to innovate for equality
