Artist statement

Although not "self-portraiture" in the traditional sense my work has always been deliberately autobiographical. In my most recent work I use photography combined with other media to reflect on personal concerns, desires and frustrations. A decorative aesthetic and questioning nature give the collages a more unhiversal appeal.
