A poem by Jill Green
COLOUR IS LIFE
' The pain of loss takes its toll,
There was no comfort for me,
It put me in a corner standing still fast emotions wash over me,
The answer lies inside ourselves in our innate creativity,
When I paint I feel free in this mind that belongs to me. '


When life was at rock bottom, the only way was up for me personally, and then out of nowhere I decided that I was driven to paint. Using recycled materials, the only resources around me in the back garden were stone and slate and that set me on my way.
