Jill Hanson Contemporary Stained Glass

Artist statement

The Jill Hanson studio is run by two friends Sharon and Peter (their middle names being Jill & Hanson), who through a shared love of stained glass create original, handcrafted, contemporary pieces of art.
We served our apprenticeship with a group of enthusiastic artists at our local stained glass society, where we quickly recognised our love for this medium and the exciting potential glass had to offer.
Our product has been specifically designed to sit in your window, allowing natural light to illuminate the glass and flood your home with a spectrum of vibrant colour.
Stained glass is by no means a new idea, but by taking traditional concepts and working them into contemporary designs, we have created unique pieces of art in line with the modern interiors and tastes of today.
