I studied Fine Arts at Central St. Martins School of Art and Design in London and had envisioned a career as a video-artist. I had to give this up when I fell ill and for several years was unable to make work of any kind. Now that my health has improved somewhat I have adapted my art practice to my physical limitations. I work with paper, artificial hair and all kinds of yarns making small-scale sculptural work within my home environment. I enjoy the sensuality of working with my hands, and am interested in exploring non-precious
materials, their various characteristics and ultimately their transformation into something precious, into an object of art.
