Visual Artist

My paintings are inspired by my Indian heritage. I investigate themes of ritual, custom and culture celebrated in the female form. These large canvases rich in colour and texture evoke intricate layers of meaning and symbolism. My current work portrays a personal spiritual interpretation of early Christian Art with Hindu symbolism. Since 1986 I have exhibited nationally in solo and group shows.
